PWC Sales has implemented SharePoint for project collaboration:
“PTG, a Microsoft Certified Partner and VMware Enterprise Partner recently implemented SharePoint Server to unite the virtual PWC sales team. Through an initial assessment of PWC’s situation to determine business needs and goals, PTG recommended Microsoft SharePoint Server as the solution platform to unify the dispersed sales associates.”
The key takeaway though: if you want an independent opinion on which technology platform to use to support business needs, don’t ask a vendor-aligned partner for advice. That’s generally true of any vendor and its partners, so this isn’t a Microsoft-specific comment.
